Green Airport (PVD) on Thursday, June 25, 2020. The airline is now in its second season at PVD providing service to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP).

WARWICK, RI – June 18, 2020 – The Rhode Island Airport Corporation (RIAC) is pleased to announce a large increase in seat capacity to Florida for the upcoming winter season by Frontier Airlines. The ultra-low-cost airline will offer flights to four different destinations in the Sunshine State, including Miami, which has not had nonstop service from T.F. Green Airport since April 2019.

Green Airport on July 2 with four-day a week service to Fort Lauderdale, FL. JetBlue also announced today that they will add two new routes from T.F. Green Airport, with daily flights to Tampa and Fort Myers in Florida beginning on October 1, 2020.

The U.S Quidditch Organization decided to hold their North East Regional Championship in Rhode Island for the next two years. The games, to be held at Confreda Sports Complex are free to attend. Additionally, during that weekend Warwick Public Library Director, Chris LaRoux, has Harry Potter-themed events for people to enjoy at the library. Anytime between 1 and 3 p.m. people will be able to “Create a Howler” in the Idea Studio, and participate in Harry Potter board games, and Quidditch cornhole in the larger meeting room.

Warwick, RI – The Rhode Island Airport Corporation (RIAC) announced today that Sun Country Airlines has added a new non-stop international route to the Dominican Republic. The route will be seasonal from November through April beginning November 16. Initially flights will be available once a week on Saturdays, but will expand to twice a week (Wednesdays/Saturdays) starting December 25.

Warwick, RI – The Rhode Island Airport Corporation (RIAC) announced today that Sun Country Airlines has doubled their non-stop routes from two to four with the addition of service to Las Vegas and New Orleans. In January, Sun Country was announced as T.F. Green’s newest airline offering non-stop service to Nashville and Minneapolis/St. Paul. The new routes will begin in September with promotional rates as low as $89.00* each way. Ticket purchases are available now at www.suncountry.com.
